Dr. David and Dr. Maria Haas, father and daughter, work closely together to provide a high level of service and care to each of their patients. We have only one office and both doctors are present on patient days for your convenience and consideration of your time.

Dr. David founded the practice in 1968 after graduating with a master's degree and certificate as an orthodontic specialist from The Ohio State University. His dental degree was earned at Loyola University in Chicago and he subsequently served as a captain in the Dental Corps of the U.S. Air Force. He is a member of the dental and orthodontic organizations listed below and has served as President of the Cleveland Society of Orthodontists, the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists, and the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation. He has been the chief orthodontic consultant at the Craniofacial Center of Akron Children's Hospital for over 35 years. He was the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists in 2004. His proudest accomplishment, however, is the association with his daughter Maria.

Continuing Education (C.E.)

The Ohio State Dental Board requires each licensed dentist to attend 40 hours of approved C.E. every two years. Drs. David and Maria each attend several times the minimum requirement each bienium. They consider it essential to be a constant student.
